Forget the Champions League, the most important Semi Final takes place on Thursday.
The League has given us a game in the Presidents Cup this Thursday evening. This is now a semi-final with only 4 teams left in it.
We will play against Delta Colts again at Oxton Park Wallasey with a 7pm kick off. We have beaten all four teams left in the competition in the League so we have a very realistic chance of winning this cup. The other two teams are Ridgewood and Irby Colts.
This is a really important game for us. Win it and we're in our first ever final!
We realise that it may be difficult for some of the girls to get there on Thursday. Please can everyone telephone or text Mike on 07901 552261 ASAP or use the poll on the right to tell us if you are available. Lifts will be available.
Oxton Park is not in Oxton at all, but in Liscard. The field is on Poulton Road opposite the Rose and Crown pub. The field is small and there is a play area at the back where younger children or substitutes can play on the equipment.Take M53 to end but don't follow the tunnel signs, instead take ramp left on to A5088 signposted 'All Docks'. Follow this road to a roundabout. Turn left onto Poulton Bridge Road and then a little further turn right onto Poulton Road. The road goes over the top of the Wallasey Tunnel road and then a little further on just past the junction with Oxton Road, you'll see the Rose and Crown on your right. Park on the road and the field is opposite the pub.
